Can only tip your hat. Iowa completely outplayed USC. Going to be remembered as Olsen's legacy game there.

I hate EIU more than most, having lived in IC for 26 years, but that was fun! Stuelke goes to the bench in the third quarter and never returns, as Iowa runs away with it. Our own Kylie Feuerbach plays the final five minutes as they close it out. Iowa is a blast to watch and Jan Jensen has those kids enjoying the game. Congrats EIU...

Gotta hand it to Iowa. Lot of hype around the Clark retirement thingie and on nation TV versus #4 and the Hawk team delivered. And the crowd to.

Listened on the radio.
There was a "Carver Magic" mention as soon as it was over.

Need their own name but the sellout crowd was definitely a factor in pumping up the team. I was wondering how smart it was to schedule that Clark thingie versus someone I thought might blow them out. Boy was I wrong.

Last year I was very underwhelmed by USC (the cali team). I thought the addition of Iriafen would be the difference maker for them. But wow…that was an egg they laid yesterday likely because of the emotional energy Iowa was channeling. We will see how they react with two HUGE games coming up with Ohio State and UCLA.

Meet UConn women’s basketball’s male practice players https://search.app/1XhGDo53gSwjDXNc6
Made me think of an article I read a long time ago about the practice squad for ISU. Did some digging and found it from 2008.

I was a bench player for our HS boys team. Got tired of it so I didn’t go out my senior year. Our girls coach recruited a few of us former players to be on the practice squad. It was so much fun. Not because it was boys vs girls, but more because it was free-ball vs a team that was actually being coached.

I've always found that if you want a team to practice against tough defense...put wrestlers on the floor. They know how to be aggressive and move laterally.

Utah and WVU win so we won't gain any on them. Arizona at Colorado is just starting.

KSU just iced the game versus TCU with a late run.
