It's interesting that if we are looking around we need to get on it. I know mbb does the transfer thing more than Bill but TJ already has 2 guys committed already.

New name on the list: Beyonce Bea, 6'1" G/F from U of Idaho. 1 year left. 2x First-team all Big Sky (and they only have 5 in 1st team). 22.8p/8.4r per game this season. Doesn't shoot many threes. Does shoot a lot of FT -- actually attempted (and made) slightly more FT than Ashley this season.

Is TCU throwing money around at WBB players? Rumor has it they signed a player from the portal in whom ISU had significant interest. We shouldn't be losing out on WBB players to the Horned Frogs...

Did they get that big girl from Oregon as well?

Most of their new coaching staff has recent Oregon ties, so that transfer isn't a surprise.

Belanger’s summer training involved conditioning, but not the run-of-the-mill variety.

She ran a half marathon on July 30.

Now, entering her senior year, Belanger will play off the ball a little more, rather that always at point guard. She mentored a freshman at point guard last season, and Truman State got a transfer who can play the position.

Belanger looks forward to the different role.

Belanger wants to earn a master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics, but Truman State doesn’t offer that program. After she graduates in 2023, she may seek to play basketball in Europe or use her extra year of eligibility, added by the NCAA due to Covid-19, to be a grad transfer, which allows students who completed their undergraduate degree and have athletic eligibility left to play a sport while attending a different school.

Belanger wants to be a sports dietitian for a college or professional team.

It would have to be Madison Conner, who transferred from Arizona. They have signed two, Sedona Prince and her. As others have mentioned, Prince played at Oregon, so she knows the head coach. Prince is from Texas, so not a big surprise she went back to Texas. She started her career at Texas.
