***WBB: 2027 Recruiting Thread***

Added Melina Snoozy. She's from North Sioux City, SD and played varsity GBB for Dakota Valley HS in NSC as an 8th grader in 22-23, but has been at Bishop Heelan for high school since then.

“Location isn’t a big thing for me,” Colvin said. “So it’s really just focusing on wanting to join a program that will really invest in my growth as a person and a player. I think my style of play is kind of versatile, so I like to push the pace and facilitate in the halfcourt as well, but also love defense. I think, really, just looking at a place that will fit me and set me up for success, even after those four years.”

Iowa State: “Iowa State has been awesome. I love their staff, and love their head coach. I have got to learn a lot about their program, obviously, just from talking to them over all these years and all these conversations. I think they also have a really good history of point guards coming out of Iowa State, which is huge.”

Colvin on her strengths as a player: “I take a lot of pride on the defensive side, which has gone away a little bit in this basketball world. I really enjoy playing defense, so I think that is one huge thing for me. I’m a big 3-and-D player, so always hitting the open three and playing defense. I also pride myself on facilitating and making others better and giving them the ball – on time, on target – and really wanting to see other people succeed.”

Supposed to be #1 Wisconsin player. no ISU offer but on mreds list as ISU recruiting interest.

Homestate gal so guess that explains wasting her time on a visit to Madison.
