That is interesting. Normally someone her age would be a 2025 or maybe 2026 recruit. And she's 17 per FIBA profile, so would be almost 20 (February 2027) by the time of NCAA league play.

Impressed that she always has her hands up and pretty much vertical (at least in segments shown). Gets lots of deflections and blocks strictly due to that posture.Just watched that short video to. She looks really good for a post that is probably just around 16 years old. Bet she'll be getting lots of attention. Wonder if she has any interest in coming to the USA for last years of HS to acclimate since she looks to be interesting in playing here?
Probably going to get a lot of elite attention if she's really good. Also someone really good will probably get some big NIL to lure her to a school. NIL would have to play into it since she could play Euro pro in a few years if she isn't interest in college. Maybe we can stay in the hunt with PR our center Crooks will be getting us.

Her stats are not impressive. In the game highlights she seems to have many positive likes blocks, active hands, and runs pretty well. Knowing she is a teenager, with her agility, good coaching, and experience may be needed.Downside I saw was FIBA U16 stat of 37% from the field in 2023 which is pretty awful for a post. Maybe like some of the highly ranked USA posts that turned out to be pretty raw offensively.
Harper Dunn is the latest player to get an ISU offer. She does a solid job of not using boilerplate language on every offer tweet.
Another 2027 offer is new to the list: Brinley Altenburg. Kylie Olson also added to the list as level 1.
The Iowa flag is a French one with an eagle, not a Hawk. I love it and the motto.Yeah, both of those were good. So many read like they are generated by some sort if AI app for recruits. "Select from the following options (1) include "blessed" Y/N (2) mention school mascot with a "Go!" Y/N (3) list your preferred @'s. "
Being long long gone from Iowa it took a moment for the "Our liberties we prize, and our rights we will maintain" to resonate with me. I would have gone with "Honor Before Victory".
You don't get much more French than Des Moines . . . . at least for a name. I believe it means The Monks or something like that. The Iowa flag is a French one with an eagle, not a Hawk. I love it and the motto.
I think I understand your point- translation wise. You don't get much more French than Des Moines . . . . at least for a name. I believe it means The Monks or something like that.

Thanks for that article. Very interesting read. During the school year, she lives on a ranch with grandparents and is into Ag, so that is a plus for ISU. Also, being from NM, that is within the Big 12 footprint so there would be a few games within driving distance.![]()
Meet Harper Dunn, a 6-5 freshman from Corona quickly becoming a national name
Harper Dunn already has garnered some early interest from three of last year’s Women’s Final Four in LSU, Iowa and Virginia Tech. And a slew of other prominent national programswww.abqjournal.com

Well Iowa offered and they believe "ANF" so being an ag school we will likely not have that appeal. Thanks for that article. Very interesting read.
