WBB: 2026 Transfer Portal

Transfer from Wisconsin. She was the real deal. Gave up the sport.

And then changed her mind and went D2.

After she didn't play at ISU in 2002-2003, I forgot all about Waterloo's Nina Smith. Thanks for the update - I'm glad she had a happy ending to her basketball career!

Portal Is SNAFU- FUBAR. ISU is not prioritizing WBB NIL money. Why not use a volleyball athlete for WBB? Tall, can jump and run. Give them a double bag.

We desperately need 4/5. We have nothing there and are small on the perimeter, ugh. Need athletes in a big way.

Aili Tanke (0.9 ppg) → Nevada - male head coach
Reagan Wilson (2.5 ppg) → Toledo - female head coach
Lilly Taulelei (2.6 ppg) → Rice - female head coach
Reese Beaty (4.6 ppg, 3.3 apg) → Mississippi State - male head coach
Alisa Williams (4.8 ppg) → Indiana - female head coach
Kenzie Hare (6 ppg) → Indiana - female head coach
Addy Brown (11.9 ppg, 8.8 rpg, 5.3 apg) → UCLA - female head coach
Jada Williams (15.3 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 7.7 apg) → LSU - female head coach
Audi Crooks (25.8 ppg, 7.7 rpg) → Oklahoma State - female head coach

Just anecdotal but something someone noted and I've been curious about as we likely turn into a coaching search after next year. Think that's a good move for Addy, I think a lot of Cori Close after the last few years.

Two are going to Indiana, where Teri Moren has had 12 transfers out in the last two years. She is right up there with Jacie Hoyt in turning over half your roster annually. In the last two years, Kim has had 10 transfers out of LSU, a top-five program.

That's just how it works today. It's happening to everyone

I don't think it necessarily says anything about those coaches (players obviously don't know them as well until they have played for them), but I think given our own history it says maybe that once having gone through ISU, they want a change of pace in that regard.
