I would think so. After watching her in the state tournament, I believe she will have an immediate impact. I’m looking forward to seeing her in a Cyclone uniform.

The way this season and last season went I would not be surprised if all 3 left. Something just feels off with that program.
My best guess is either 2 stay and 1 leaves or 1 leaves and 2 stay. Hoping all 3 stay and can bring in impact players from the portal.
My much maligned source told me last night this was coming and he's of the opinion it's far from over, including the Big Three. It's a new world out there - these kids have agents, who've reportedly been shopping EVERYBODY for a month, and big schools have deep pocket benefactors. My hope is that emotions were running high yesterday (end of season meetings) and cooler heads will prevail by the time the portal opens on April 6. ISU fans don't need this, after the gutting of our football team and the drama of shutting down the gymnastics season.
Beaty was a capable backup PG on a B12 conference title contender and was presumably going to get better. I think she ends up at another P5 program.
Based on input from those who watched her play a lot, Beaty's spot in the rotation was likely in jeopardy by the arrival of Comito.
And given Bill's status, I highly question that all 4 roster openings will be filled but he has got to land at least one front court transfer with length (preferably at least 6-2) who is at least a threat from the arc. That type of player would enable Bill to play more zone to cover up Audi. He can't play zone with Hare, AJ and Jada all on the court.
This all assumes no more transfers out with the exception of Jensen.
We finished 10-8, not sure I'd call that a title contender.
That's interesting. Sounds like 1 leaving and 2 staying would be no different than 2 staying and 1 leaving. EH?? But I guess if the 1 that left was not part of the main 2 that could be different than if the 2 who left were not the main 1. HUH ??
I think we all know JP will not fire him right now and unless the entire team leaves, I don’t see him retiring.
I’ve come around on the thought of Bill staying 1 more year if the big 3 stay. Not expecting anything more than a decent season with a sweet 16 ceiling…but he did recruit them here and is the one who has done less than he/we all anticipated.

100% speculation here, but if anyone leaves, I would guess it would be Addy. Jada just came in last year and said she wanted to be closer to KC. AC has ties to Iowa and the program is built around her skillset.
Addy seems like the one that could get a payday from a program with much bigger pockets than we have.
They had a roster in place to contend and the preseason polls reflected that. Obviously injuries impacted final results as well as defensive issues that need to be addressed and it remains to be seen if those issues get addressed this off-season with roster additions and coaching/scheme. As posted in the BF thread, a 6-2 type of athlete who is capable of starting would enable Bill to play more zone and cover up Audi's lack of defensive mobility. Can't play zone with Jada, Hare and AJ all on the court with Audi and Addy.
From a logic standpoint, this makes a lot of sense.
100% agreed and if we lose Addy, she's irreplaceable. There's nowhere to go but down, no matter how rosy anyone tries to make that. Hopefully it's not something that happens, but it's just not feasible.
Yes, stay until the big three leave to only leave the next coach with nothing & almost zero high school recruiting to boot. Sounds like a great plan.
At the end of the day if Iowa State was moving on from CBF it would've been discussed by now and arrangements would most likely been completed with an announcement to follow. I don't know if I see JP & the new President willing to make that call right now given the Gymnastics fiasco & losing Matt.
Handled pressure defense with less t.o's. than Jada. Agree with the offensive side although I saw some nice moves around the basket.
