Ok…this one surprises me greatly. I liked her aggressiveness to a point (I often referred to her as a bull in a china closet), but she was not a big scoring threat. Three of the transfers will have little effect. Beaty mainly a depth piece.

As someone who is very down on this staff, I'll reserve judgment on the attrition until we see what happens next. It's entirely possible they have agreements in place for incoming players that will push some of these folks out.

My expectations for this staff are that is unlikely, but it's also not impossible. Let's hope Bill can sense things warming up and is motivated to make improvements.

it’s interesting that all of the youth besides Jensen are gone. Many of them (LT and Tanke) weren’t seeing time and won’t impact the team much. Wilson and Beaty were depth pieces, but worked hard. Seeing everyone but Beaty choosing to leave wasn’t a surprise. So, as you say…what comes in will be the tale of the tape here.

Expecting to get a starter in the transfer portal with minimal NIL support will be tough.

I think a lot of people forget the women’s game and transfers is different than the men’s game. Women graduate early a lot and start their masters degree at a certain school. I think the men mostly transfer to get them to the next level (nba, euro leagues) and playing time

Beaty is the puzzling one, for sure. Given all the opportunities she was given, it must be something else pushing her to switch. Could be personal, who knows.

I hope Jada, Audi, and Addy have some relationships with players that they can get to transfer for their senior seasons. If we get some athletic players to come I think it would be because of them and the possibility of being really good. I don’t see girls coming because of Bill- his temperament and probable retirement soon.

Not upset about Beaty at all tbh. A small, slow pg in a very aggressive b12 is not a recipe for success.

I think the first two were told you will not get much court time so chose if you want to ride the bench. The other two one again playing time but Beaty is a head scratcher.
