Let me know if there are any corrections needed. Note that I generally leave players on the potential targets list until they give a verbal commitment somewhere, even if it's clear there is no longer mutual interest with ISU.

It's about time we had separate WBB recruiting threads for each year. Let me know if there are any corrections needed.

Verbals:

none

Available Scholarships: 4 (1 in 2020 + 3 in 2021)

Potential Targets:
Payton Verhulst (KS) -- 6'1" Guard
Avery VanSickle (CO) -- 5'9" Combo Guard
Ally VanTimmeren (MI) -- 6'2" Forward
Greta Kampschroeder (IL) -- 6'0" Guard
Addison O’Grady (CO) -- 6'3" Post
Kiandra Browne (Quebec) -- 6'0" Forward
Zakia Rasheed (IN) -- 5'8" Combo Guard
Skye Williams (OH) -- 5'11" Combo Guard
Jaidyn Schomp (KS) -- 6'2" Forward
Izabella Zingaro (Ontario) -- 6'3" Post
Paige Price (Australia) -- 6'1" Forward
Isaline Alexander (Ontario) -- 6'2" Post
I wish there were three or four 6-4 to 6-5 or better posts among this group. We only seem to be getting 6-3 posts or shorter anymore or if we get a taller one, she transfers after a year. I know we got that transfer Jarosinski, but I doubt she's 6-5 as advertised. She was listed at 6-3 on the Wake Forest roster and other places, so that's probably closer to being correct.

Wish almost granted...

Athletic 6-4 and up post players are incredibly hard to get...they either go to the blue chippers (ND, UConn, Stanford, Baylor, etc.) or they play volleyball.

Work to get the best of the 6-2, 6-3 players...which Bill is trying to do.

Article today in Star Tribune on college recruits for WBB in Minnesota. No ISU mention but quite a bit of focus on Sophie Hart who is on your list as an ISU interest.

http://www.startribune.com/thirteen...halen-s-pursuit-of-upcoming-talent/564783852/

Top 10 state of Minnesota list from print version:

Basic gist is Gophers have lost too many instate recruits and new coach Whalen is working hard to turn that. She has a lot of offers out tot he instate kids.
