After watching the show “Alone”, all they do is kill ‘em, skin ‘em and eat them.

If I could shoot squirrels in the my yard, I probably wouldn’t go hungry for a year. Always check their liver! If it is spotted, discard it.

I don't know what Jerimiah Johnson style is, but yes over a fire. Delicious, much better than the rest the rabbit our survival instructor made us boil in a tin can. Tasteless and awful, except the eyeballs were salty.
