Washington State game thoughts

WSU really impressed me. They were a little better than I expected and their coaching was good—took timeouts at good points and they came out of timeouts on mini runs. They also made some impressive end of clock shots with hands on their faces
I was impressed how WSU just kept hanging around until the very end. Just kept answering and answering to keep us from running away with it.
I was impressed with WSU. Their coach is really good. We were just better. Glad we won.
WSU Wells was doing offensive hip-checks most possessions. Never called. Jones was brought down to the ground by at least one arm and then called for traveling. It was very frustrating to watch.
Offense was a mess for the majority of the first half and we still won by double digits against a pretty decent team. We are really damn good.
This. Anybody who is lining up to play a grinder of a game against this ISU team better have someone make shots like their dude in the first half. Otherwise you are losing that grind.
Good win. Celebrating with some Buffalo Trace.
If you watched it objectively, there’s no way you thought the refs weren’t letting Iowa State get away with a ton as well. Not great refs, but it was bad equally
If you get a chance, try Early Times Bottled in Bond. Cheaper, better and easier to find.
Let’s hope the refs in Boston are as concerned with neutralizing a home court advantage to a neutral site game as these clowns seemed to be today.
I mean, we beat the spread.
We have seen this game out of the team before. Isn't much fun the first 10 minutes but you know they are going to get back in it.
With that said, I vote for 20 pt lead that we have to hang on to for next game.

All anyone wanted before the tournament started was refs that didn't call things too tight, and that's what we got.

You win. I've been drinking Cyclones Hazy....but I have some catching up to do.
Reminder that team swept another 2 seed in Arizona. That’s a damn solid win against a tough team. I’ve always liked Wazzu as they are pretty much us with even worse geography. Their coach is fantastic to listen to as well.
