Walking Dead

Noah was such a disposable character. His impending doom couldn't have been more obvious if he was wearing a red shirt.

So, I've been making my prep list, which is mostly just writing down the names of all my friends with lots of guns, and surfing the internet for Katana Swords. But I can't help but thinking that a group of people should build a little block shed, put a wood chipper in it, and then have a tornado siren on top of it to draw in walkers.

i've drawn up some plans and I think it would work well. That way you could clear up the walkers running around the woods.
I just drove out east and back and saw a Katana sword in a truck stop and started wondering how effective a truck stop Katana sword would be in a zombie apocalypse.

If the wood chipper is running, would you even need a tornado siren? Between the two, which is louder?

Not sure, but I want them coming in from miles. I think the siren would be better for this, but I'm no expert. Throw it out in the middle of nowhere, turn it on and go make some cocktails.

Easy living...

Still a little twinge of Flour Carol left. Enough of Flour Carol left to recognize the wife is getting abused and maybe the boy but her solution is all Flower Carol with "Rick, you need to show the husband the flowers. I'll be bakin' cookies with with little owl wrecker."

I would venture to say that a "truck stop" katana sword will probably break within the first couple of days of the zombie apocalypse. Better to get a real katana. They are forged by hand with alternating, folded layers of steel and will cost you a pretty penny. However, they are harder than stainless steel and sharper as well.

Yea, that was pretty much my conclusion as well.

You two may be taking this a little too seriously. :pwink:

It appears the makers of the Walking Dead are turning the gore factor up on us. Just like crack, the smaller doses don't do the job anymore.

Yeah, I don't know where these zombies attended dentistry school but I don't think that was the correct procedure for removing Noah's wisdom teeth.

It looked to me like a throwback to the old George Romero zombie movies. We haven't seen anything quite like that since Dale got his guts ripped out. Making the zombies scary again (mainly people have been the danger in recent seasons).

I think it is an awesome idea. They need to create some traps to make some easy auto kills and draw zombies away from them.
The group at Woodbury did something like that where they had some noise maker drawing the zombies to a pit they would all fall into. Then they came by later and burned them I think. Seems like a better idea than a wood chipper since a wood chipper would be a ***** to clean out after a few zombies. Bones would jam it up in no time.

Acid pit.

I disagree, I'll be looking for one of these when **** goes down.
