Walking Dead

For the record, I hate the name "Gareth". It sounds like you have a lisp when you say it. And its just a dumb name in general. If anybody reading this is named Gareth, then please change your name or at least go by Gary.

It's "Gareth" since he's a hipster and has it that way before it becomes cool.

Decent episode, but I am confused as well. How would Gareth know Bob's name and why would he say "cosmic irony it was you" if they had not met before?

But why/how would Bob just let the group go into Terminus if he had known Gareth before? Overall, he must have been part of Gareth's group, maybe it was pre-cannibalism or even pre-Terminus. Remember his references that he was the "sole survivor" of two different groups that had gone bad? I am guessing we will get some flashbacks to Bob in earlier days.

My family is also convinced Bob was bitten, but it does seem weird that he would want to kiss Sasha if he knew he was infected. There has definitely been enough body fluid/blood transfer when killing zombies that you don't get infected that way, but still seems weird to me he would risk infecting someone he loves.

And was Carol planning on leaving the group? Why? Rick had totally forgiven her, as had Tyreese.

Plot device to get her and Darryl away from the group and chasing after Beth? Yeah, it didn't make any sense to me either.

Remember Bob went to Terminus because Maggie was going hell or high water in search of Glen, maybe he did know or hoped they were not there. Either way, I think Gareth and Bob did know each other prior to Terminus in some capacity. Agree this season looks to be a refreshing upturn to the last couple. Excited to see how it all turns out.

I'm not convinced that the Army guy is a good guy. There was a few sentences when they were walking at the beginning where what he said Drew a red flag for me. Can't remember exactly what was said but it seemed off.

It caught my attention too. After Rick did something, he told girl army "that's why we're waiting to make our move". I thought when he said it that they were going to try a forced takeover of the group, hoping some of the group would side with them. After he made that speech in the church, I pretty much came to the conclusion that he was talking about convincing them rather than forcing them.

I assumed he meant it was irony because it was Bob's group that forced them to leave Terminus and go "hunting," and the first group they had caught to start hunting and eating were the group that had forced them out. I agree with others that Bob would have at least warned them about what they were heading into.

You guys are looking too deep into Bob. He is a simple character that lost hope and regained it with this group only to get bit and eaten. I think it's time that simple. Want your favorite characters to live? Then add more to kill.

Fine. Let's kill off Beth. :)

Ever notice the best episodes have very little of Carl in them? And for the worst ones, the opposite is true?

Does anyone remember at the end of last season that Bob had a scrape with one of the walkers when they were looking for Maggie, and Tasha bandaged him up around his shoulder . I thought he acted kind of strange saying he was fine and I wondered if somehow he was immune to them from his past which is so clouded and maybe he isn't aware that he is. We do know he is an alcoholic and I noticed he didn't have a glass in his hand. Anyone's guess. Looks like he is a gonner unless wonder woman Carol and Daryl show up.

I don't think Bob was bitten. That water scene happened during the day and he was talking to Gareth during the night. He would have made the zombie transformation by then, right?
