Before the **** show that was that game, I did have a really sad moment.

I've missed about a game a year for the last several years due to vacations (and friends that have the nerve to schedule them for football seasons) but during those games I've been in Scotland or Hawaii or San Diego, so I haven't been able to listen to the games.

As I was listening to the pregame on the radio and heard the band play their usual music right before the team comes onto the field, I realized that I had never heard that on the radio. It just felt wrong.

I did find myself wondering why the Iowa State logo, at mid field, on national television, looked to faded and washed out.
