I wouldn’t trust my Verizon store to change my SIM card. Probably stick that little pin tool into the microphone hole as incompetent as they are.

Receiving some texts but not all, and 5g home internet can't hold a connection. But weirdly this has been going on for me since Friday. Just patient zero over here apparently.
 
Pixel 8 has been stuck in emergency call only mode since about 9:30 central. I can still connect to WiFi for data, but messages and calls are down.

My wife has been having intermittent issues for a couple days too. Someone needs to crack the code and figure out what the common denominator is between those impacted.
 
Weak phone plus internet has been out all day. I've about burned through my Hotspot data with a pair of calls to go.
 
Apparently Verizon said there is an emergency situation at the HQ? Anyone know what is actually going on?

I use wifi mostly, but at home it shows good connection both in wifi mode and without wife. Im getting 4 bars right now.
 
My personal iPhone has been down all day but my work iPhone and my wife’s android have been fine.

Android/Samsung here and I've been down since mid-morning. Dropped daughter #2 off in Ames around 10 and noticed I had zero bars on the drive home. Wife and daughters have iPhones and they've been down as well. I looked a few minutes ago and had 4 bars so I tried making a call and it immediately hung up and I'm back down to no bars. Very irritating.
 
My phone's been out (android), zero bars since ~8am today. With an open spot in my schedule, I ran over to the Verizon store around noon and they said it's a mass network outage. Pretty much a steady stream of people going in and out of the store with the same complaint. No ETA on when it might go up, or frankly why it's happening.

Messaged my wife when I got wifi and she said her mother was asking about why her phone said "no network" --- she lives in Colorado.

Just got a new phone fairly recently and didnt have wifi calling enabled (I am at home all day) I was today years old when I learned you can't enable WiFi calling if you are not connected to the verizon network.

mine now came back and I enabled wifi calling...lol

we have four phones under our Verizon plan. Two are stuck in SOS mode, and the other two are working fine.
 
Been on SOS all day, Verizon's coverage has been **** lately anyways. I use my phone gps to track runs and constantly get dropped signals over the past two months in areas that have never been a problem before. Might need to look for a new carrier.
