Utah slowly slipping away

It would be really nice if they lost another game or two and we could into SLC with 0 or 1 losses to make that game not mean quite as much. Whether they're rated or not, that place is a hornets nest. On paper, thats arguably the toughest game on our schedule, it would be nice if they were down far enough that a head to head against them won't matter.

Need some of the old big 12 teams to get wins against them. They are 1-0 against the old big 12 (okie state is not good) and they have TCU, Houston and byu next. Could see them with 2 loses and 4-0 against the old big 12. That wouldn’t be ideal.

I was at the game last night. Utah fans were very quiet. We couldn't understand why Utah wasn't running the ball more. They were having success with the run, but kept throwing on first down and putting themselves in 2nd or 3rd and long. As ASU fans we were happy with their strategy though. It's cool to see the excitement around Sun Devil football grow under Kenny Dillingham. For the record I will always be a Cyclone first, but I've had two sons attend ASU, one of which played baseball. Not to mention three stepsons who went/go to ASU. So my second team is ASU. It was easier when they weren't in the same conference. I'm not looking forward to the ISU/ASU games. Kinda cool that they're a combined 10 - 1 right now.

Man, I’ve seen rising compete at a really high level. I have a feeling that he’ll get back there eventually.
I don't know, dude is 25, and he's still in college. That tells you a lot about how good he really is, and about how injury prone he is.

He's had some games yeah, some flashes here and there. He's also sucked a lot.

Utah thought they were unsinkable.

Turns out they dont even have a door to cling to, and its getting chilly...

Throwing on first downs, the cyclone fanatic coaches would be so proud.
