Big concern with how an athletic defensive line was able to give us trouble. Rocco obviously was getting happy feet because of lack of time. Glad we didn’t get him killed.

Not the smartest play call with that much time left but much better than rushing a bad play and/or turnover from being rushed.

Thank you to the entire team and coaches on tonight’s victory! My wife’s cousin (lifetime Hawkeye fan) attended his first ever Cyclone football game, and boy, will it be one he never forgets!!!

I think purdys tcu game is a close battle.for worst qb game.
I’m taking a wild guess that we made a good impression on a really huge group of underclassman HS recruits on unofficial visits, too.
Type of game I don’t even want to go back and nit pick. Yea a lot was bad, but the end of the day you find a way to win and nothing else matters at this point.
Great gutty win, but we can’t play like that again a win another game.

That OC made a bunch of boneheaded moves tonight. The clock violation in side the ten was a prime example. Some of the play calls were just head scratchers. But he’d look like a genius if the offense executed like they are capable of.
1) Gotta get Brahmer, Carson Hansen, and some of the LBs healthy. The bye week right now is extremely fortuitous.
2) Rylan Barnes with another great game, 3 tackles for loss.
3) The D line has to play better, cannot be giving up housecalls like that. Our D is going multiple games without a sack, but that's the way it is with a 3 man front that heacock will not get away from.
4) Rocco was awesome, tough gritty win. Need to avoid brutal first halves like that.
Ultimately, IDGAF. Best start in school history and this is so much fun. In the hunt for the playoff still!

Very likely no longer a top ten team. Couple of big wins for folks behind us today. We could, not saying we will, but could slip a couple of spots.
