One underrated aspect of a night game is that it allows high school recruits with Friday night games to journey from several hours away—and still experience the entire gameday atmosphere.

Uh where are they getting their weather from? Its supposed to be in the 50s for a low, and not even that at game time, showing mid 60s during the game. Most people would consider that perfect football weather, especially the players.
Its probably better for us, for BYU and KSU to win, for our SOS and the B12 as a whole. The others are probably good.
Although I want KSU to go down because of their egos, and KU getting destroyed would be great too.
fair enough, but I just really want to make the Big12 title game. we could use a little room for error especially with our LB core depleted.
After the covid season, we deserve to go back to the Big XII title game and Fiesta Bowl (playoff) after not being able to have much fans at those events during the 2020 season.

I see where you are coming from. With that it is probably better for just KSU to lose, and probably TT, and not BYU. Keeping BYU undefeated without us playing them is probably good. They would be our opponent and not a rematch in the CCG, and have a better chance of 2 teams making the playoff.
But I totally get wanting others to lose, and I agree, it can just be hard to balance what is good for us and emotionally, vs what is good for the entire conference.
I want all the top big 12 teams to win.

I’d think WVU winning improves our SOS. After all, we’ve already beaten them, and KState won’t be factored into the strength of who we’ve beaten until the very last week.

You are correct up to this point.
But moving forward. KSU only having the 1 loss and being ranked looks better if we beat them, when we play them. WVUs ship has pretty much sailed in that regard. And the question becomes if WVU wins does it help our SOS as much as it weakens the overall conference, and in turn weaken our overall SOS in the end.
Realized I hadn’t made my call. ISU 42-10. Being conservative.
Thinking out loud. Think it would be best for KSU to drop another game before we play them. Otherwise if they win out between now and then they would be playing us with only one big 12 loss. If we are undefeated and lose that game then KSU would have the tie breaker over us.
