U Minnesota Student Riots

They did win the game to send them to the finals in pretty dramatic fashion. Scored the go ahead goal with 0.6 left on the clock in the third period - shorthanded, no less.

They did win with a last second shot with .6 remaining and they were short-handed. So that in of itself is pretty amazing, but is it worth rioting? No. If it was the NC then go for it.

It does seem like riots are happening all over this spring.

Iowa, Minnesota.............probably the ungodly winter we just had.

Wait a second.............we need to ban winter! No more riots!

eta: throw Wisconsin in too, they had a mini-mini riot after the Badgers made the final four.

So the students riot after a SEMI-FINAL victory in the Frozen Four.

My question - should the university president pull the team out of the championship game because of the student behavior?

Or it could be due to the fact that this riot didn't happen at an official university event and as such Minnesota has much less to worry about in the way of liability lawsuits than ISU does.

Neither did ours. Unless the riot was on Central Campus in the middle of the day and I wasn't aware of it.
