Two KU receivers arrested

The KU message board thread is arguing about whether the "weapons" that were said to be recovered by police were necessarily guns. After all, lots of things can be weapons, like sticks and rocks and toasters. (Not a joking. That's what they're arguing about)
Well this scene taught me that a loaf of bread can be a weapon.

No! Did they really do away with the Fulmer cup, that's a shame.

Yes. It's dead. I understand their reasons but still sad to see a tradition go.

Most of the crimes logged under the Fulmer Cup were pretty harmless (e.g., underage possession of alcohol or smoking something or other) or at least were victimless or nonviolent (e.g., somebody stealing a TV from a dorm room but there not being any real damage or assault involved with it). But awarding points for even the (rare) instances of assault, sexual assault, or worse was less funny now after major scandals like Baylor and Penn State. It was easy to have ironic detachment in the past but not so much now.

The good news is the points scored under the Fulmer Cup were in a long-term decline when they discontinued the tracking. I guess that means college football was becoming more law abiding.
