Why on earth would you buy a smoker with controllers, fuses, and electronics? Hell, that takes half the fun out of smoking.

I have a Traeger and WSM. Both are great and have their own followers.
WSM gives more smoke and a bark taste. I use that when I know I'm going to be home.
Traeger is great if I have to run errands, dont have time to check in on it, or to get to a really low temp like 150-180.

If you don't start the fire with a handmade friction drill, it doesn't count.

I'm looking into buying one. I'd like to have one big enough to smoke a large turkey. Any suggestions on which model would be best?

I have the Texas pro and can fit 2 large turkeys. Very happy with it going on year 2
