I like all the Toy Story movies. Some are fantastic. Others are just good. I personally think it should have ended after 3, but it's a cash cow.

Pleasantly surprised how much I liked Toy Story 5. Really interesting take on tech and kids today.

My Toy Story movie rankings:

1: Toy Story 3
2: Toy Story
3: Toy Story 5
4: Toy Story 2
5: Toy Story 4

I took my family to this on Sunday. I ended up chasing my youngest (3 yrs old) around the halls of the theater, so I only caught about a third of the movie. The rest of my family liked it.

I completely agree that they should have ended after 3.

It was a fine movie that didn't need to happen. Personally, I loved the way 4 ended. I wouldn't have guessed that because I thought 3 was a great ending, but having Buzz and Woody go their separate ways was an awesome ending.

Took the family to it on Sunday. As a big Toy Story fan, I enjoyed it and the message. I've got outdoor kids going through the same type of thing right now. So far the bike riding, fishing, swimming, toys, etc. are winning out and I really do think there was some reinforcement of that mentality.

Was it necessary? No. Is it worth seeing? Yes.

We took our daughter this past weekend. It was solid. Not the magic of the first couple, but I think that's gone just by the nature of being #5. Just another solid Pixar movie.

Nothing really stood out as being "great".

A handful of things that I didn't like:

-The Woody going bald and having a gut jokes were way overplayed. Funny once, then end it. How does a toy gain weight?

-Bonnie's parents pissed me off. Their lack of awareness throughout the movie was infuriating.

-The platoon of Buzz Lighyears was almost completely irrelevant. They were a weird addition and didn't add to the story at all, yet they kept showing them. They were finally useful in one single scene for like 20 seconds as an apparent attempt to show the audience "these aren't your mom and dad's Buzz Lightyears, these are a modern version".

Took the girls on Sunday mostly because it was raining. Movie was fine with a good message but is clearly a money grab. They had the perfect ending after Toy Story 3 and it just keeps going

I don't recognize any Toy Story movies made past the 20th century.
That's just weird to say but I did really like 3 and haven't seen any past that one.

Toy Story came out when I was past being a kid. By the time 3 came out, I had 2 kids of my own. My kids are well past being little kids now. Not sure even they watched 4. Agreed that 3 should have been the end.
