Hofner was an analyst and not a "coach". Him leaving has no effect on the # of "coaches" we can have.
I thought we were down a coach last year. I could be wrong though.

But if we were down a coach last year we can add Manning and Gasser doesn't have to leave.

Did you read it? It talks about him being back after coaching for the Colts.

Good point. They did add some new stuff. However, I still can't find that page through anything other than the poster's link.

Even through the link it now has an old bio that says he is OC/O-line rather than Running Game Coordinator. The probably were updating it and didn't intend to have it public.

Seems like they tried to get everything edited/ready before the official announcement was made.

Also, it's entirely possible that they edited the old Tom Manning page first, which could explain that there would be no link to Scheelhaase in the directory, since he only started last year. No other reason to suspect he would be leaving - seems like he has a bright future.

Yeah, I'd be disappointed if Scheelhaase leaves

The obvious answer is that Campbell isn’t firmly entrenched in Ames and Manning came back so he could take over when Campbell leaves.

It is so obvious. Duh.

It's been clarified a million times. We weren't down a coach last year. Hofher stepped away and Gordon came in. Someone has to be leaving.
