Tom Manning Needs To Go

Dekkers is talented but he looks pretty lost out there.

Was surprised to see his throws go short today too with his arm. Looked like about 5 INTs left on the field.
His arm is meant to throw down field not 3 yard crossing routes or throws all the way to the sideline. I’ve never seen an OC so scared to move DOWN the field

I was still surprised to see his sideline throws fall short. Previously he'd been pretty good at getting the ball to the outside.

Why in the hell didn’t X reach that ball out on that last 3rd down?

Also- my opinion is that Campbell should not have sent Gilbert out there in that spot after coming off missing 2 FGs. It’s 4th and inches. Get the 1st and get it closer.

When my 15 yr old is saying how bad it is…. You know it is bad…. Need to be more aggressive. The best drive was when they used tempo and quick plays…

Not much to say other than that. He’s the absolute worst and Campbell needs to have the balls to let him go. That play calling today was some of the trashiest poop I’ve ever seen. Tom Manning is as useful as a poopy flavored lollipop.
Some of you fans are unbearable. I bet after our first three games you didn’t think “Manning is the absolute worst.” I understand the competition wasn’t the same as these last two weeks, but how much of the ineptitude is on Dekkers? He has been less than impressive and holds onto the ball wayy too long, wayy too often

Oh I’ve definitely been on the manning sucks train even when ISU was putting up inflated offense numbers a few years ago.

Offense was worse the years he was gone, tells me the problem is

Offense was worse the years he was gone, tells me the problem is more the head guy.
I'm getting some hate for this so feel like I need to address again. Manning is a problem fact. But when he was gone the offensive play calling was a problem. Campbell has his hands all over it, until he takes them off nothing is going to change weather its Manning or someone else. Clearly wasn't calling for Campbell to be gone, so where am I wrong? And unless Campbell self-identifies the issue, which I don't see happening with Manning loyalty , he can do whatever the hell he wants with the staff. We are constantly trying to hold on to him, so you no damn well know no one will tell him what to do with his staff.

I don’t fault Dekkers for the turnovers fully because I like aggressiveness but they are ending up being massive setbacks. Today and against Baylor were huge huge turning point. Sadly we have to assume he throws at least one and likely two INTs every game and hope we can counter but we aren’t doing that. Very costly.

This summarized my concerns. Perplexing.
