This is one of those Hyperbolic statements of irrational thought. We’re back to the McCarney/Rhoads era, somehow winning games that we shouldn’t (but dropping turds in games that we should win handily). But, let’s give mediocrity a standing ovation.
The team is still terrible right now. The offense was the worst it’s been all season. Kudos to the injured defense for showing up and playing pretty well. What you say now?

We returned zero production at the wide receiver position which has been our biggest offensive problem.I just think when you return so much production and it looks like people on offense have never played the game of football before, that's a little concerning....and we're seeing the exact same errors each week. That's on the coaches and the players.
The offense had nearly 200 less yards than TCU and needed a punt return to win. Rocco, the receivers, the play calling all bad.Terrible?
Holy cow.
If that's your only measure, then you, like fans of about 15 other Big 12 teams are going to be disappointed. ISU is near the bottom for financial resources, always has been, and yet the team has set your expectations higher.Cool. Does that get us a Big 12 championship or CFP bid?
Jalon Daniels did not play 2 years ago.well the evidence the last 2 times we've played them in particular tell a different story
They had 2 games where they gave up more than 24 points. 1st was right after they lost 2 starting DBsThe offense had nearly 200 less yards than TCU and needed a punt return to win. Rocco, the receivers, the play calling all bad.
The defense stepped up with all the injuries but still can’t get off the field on third down by actually making the play.

Of course I am happy we won but I don’t think it’s weird that I refuse to stick my head in the sand and say everything is going well. You didn't like the scoring drive when Rocco scrambled to make a huge play that changed the course of the game?
Any win is good and ******** about it after the how last 5 weeks has gone is weird.

Rocco and the receivers both need to be much better, I don't think it's much more complicated than that. How well do you need things to go with the make up of ISU's team?
It was ugly but that's how it could go even if ISU were winning over the last month.
Heck the 5-0 wasn't exactly smooth sailing for the most part.
LOL, this is beyond silly. And ridiculous.Agree. But it seems like it’s some horrible hot take if you show any optimism with the team on this board.

Definitely not a terrible team. We’ve seen terrible.Terrible?
Holy cow.
That's your measuring stick?Cool. Does that get us a Big 12 championship or CFP bid?
