To the Naysayers:

We’re back to the McCarney/Rhoads era, somehow winning games that we shouldn’t (but dropping turds in games that we should win handily). But, let’s give mediocrity a standing ovation.
We found one!!!!!

You know we can still achieve more wins than all but one season in Cyclone history before Campbell if we get these next two.

IMO, you and others of your opinion base your opinions on the year before and do not understand that the variables, well, vary from year to year.

Oh the old copout "you don't understand". No - I perfectly well understand that this win doesn't fix the fact that our offense is intrinsically broken and our defense is having to scrub harder for able bodies than the Detroit Lions had to last year.

We just ended a 4-game losing streak and the first thing done is to put on blast the people that recognize there are serious problems with this team. Bold strategy.
What good does "people recognize there are serious problems" do??? Are you going to fix it? Obviously Rocco has confidence issues since his bell was rung in Cinci, our receivers have the dropsies not helped by slight inaccuracies and we forced passing when we should run almost every play. Carson played another great game but also extremely pleased with Sama. Don't remember a single time he missed the hole, always getting whatever positive yardage that was there.

Yeah, but the Clones are 6-4 with the chance to go 8-4. 10 years ago (2015), you would not have thought that a good thing? CMC is bowl eligible in 8 of 10 years, are you gonna piss on that?

Could it be your expectations are as far off the mark as Rommel's on June 6, 1944? (My references are historical, ain't got anything better.)
I just think when you return so much production and it looks like people on offense have never played the game of football before, that's a little concerning....and we're seeing the exact same errors each week. That's on the coaches and the players.

Which means any win is good and ******** about 'issues' is pretty stupid.

When things aren't good, anything that goes well is great and to finish it off is a huge deal no matter how it 'looks'.

Like two 1,000 receivers that are getting regular NFL snaps as rookies?

I’m not a naysayer but I’ve been super negative about this team over the last month. Doesn’t stop me from going to every home game and cheering from my couch for every away game.

It is possible to be critical of this team and still be a super fan. But maybe shittalking our own fanbase makes the OP feel better?
this....and I think we all pretty much collectively love CMC and co....but that doesn't mean they aren't worthy of criticism when things aren't going well.....after all, the fans are helping subsidize the athletics department

Cool. Does that get us a Big 12 championship or CFP bid?

To all the naysayers who complained about a four game losing streak in which the team looked totally out of wack and the coaches kept making questionable decisions that cost us wins and the quarterback was sub 50% in completions…**** YOU!
and let's be real, we looked like crap today....defense was amazing today...but the offense was putrid again and we needed a special teams TD just to win the game
