Agree. But it seems like it’s some horrible hot take if you show any optimism with the team on this board.I would counter point that we are 6-4. And it is time to make KU and OSU our *******

I doubt that happens...and KUs defense is not great. This thread will be interesting when Jalon Daniels rips us to shreds in two weeks.
The offense played like crap and we still won. Better than the offense playing like crap and losing.
I stay pretty optimistic and don’t complain a lot (officiating excluded, my posting don’t lie).Agree. But it seems like it’s some horrible hot take if you show any optimism with the team on this board.
That is what Campbell seems to want.
Why is this funny/dumb? I can take some criticism but genuinely don’t understandHardly. Harimad has been reasonable as hell for as long as I can remember.
I don't agree with everything but very well said and mostly spot on. Thank you.Or, maybe that's what he and the staff can get. For being a poor (P4) cousin, ISU coaches are doing a fine job. Bowl qualified in 8 of CMC's 10 years here. Remarkable, though the struggle is mighty to elevate Iowa State football to that level.
It's a matter of location and resources. Me, I've perked up after today, looking forward to an 8-4 record possibly. I thank my Cyclone warriors for that.
While going 5-0 this season, it seemed to me we were anything but a juggernaut. What we were (and are) is gritty. Imagine, import a Blue Blood's roster to ISU, you don't believe this staff could do great things?
I'm gonna say it even though I'll get ripped apart here on the board (what's the harm, it's not like we're living in 1940 Warsaw). I'd rather have the young men in this program of ours than those from a bought-and-paid Blue Blood. To me, there is something filthy about buying a football team with lucre. Like Texas Tech's $7 mil defensive line.
Myself, when I get over the momentary disappointment of our losses, when my emotions level out, it comes to my mind how proud I am of the Iowa State University of Science & Technology's mission to educate our nation's young, including the success of our football student athletes (imagine spending 50 hours a week on the sport you love and going on to work so hard in the classroom that that the team graduation rate is 95 percent, so far above the general student body).
In my opinion, our coaches have a magnificent attitude, an incomparable goal to foster the betterment of our Cyclone football young men. It is a winning formula, and they are doing an exceptional job despite what we unprofessional football program observers think we know.
I say …..congrats MEN ! You earned a tough tough conference game win on the road against team that was supposed to beat you. What you say now?
lmfaof !!! That’s exactly what I was thinking when Flora housed that effin thing …4 turnovers forced
RB runs for 100+
Incompetent play calling and QB struggling to throw
White kid houses punts
We are the Iowa Hawkeyes
Fire Matt, Mouser, and Heacock, plus bench Rocco and Sama.We just ended a 4-game losing streak and the first thing done is to put on blast the people that recognize there are serious problems with this team. Bold strategy.
Why not? ISU won five straight games and the first thing was blast the team and fans that continued to cheer them on when the first sign of adversity was present. We just ended a 4-game losing streak and the first thing done is to put on blast the people that recognize there are serious problems with this team. I don’t believe this is true. I don’t think there was a lot of panic after Cincinnati. It was the loss to Colorado when a lot of the criticism/questions about the offense started. Why not? ISU won five straight games and the first thing was blast the team and fans that continued to cheer them on when the first sign of adversity was present.
So it wasn’t the first thing but after the third or fourth loss?I don’t believe this is true. I don’t think there was a lot of panic after Cincinnati. It was the loss to Colorado when a lot of the criticism/questions about the offense started.
It wasn’t the first sign of adversity that did it, it was the second, third and fourth that set fans off. I mean, if 4 straight losses including one to a crap Colorado team isn’t worthy of discontent and panic I don’t know what is.Why not? ISU won five straight games and the first thing was blast the team and fans that continued to cheer them on when the first sign of adversity was present.
Yeah that was #97 my postIt wasn’t the first sign of adversity that did it, it was the second, third and fourth that set fans off.
