I bet we will see more of it in the coming months. When money was easy AD support staffs grew considerably. The interesting question is do sport specific support staff's get cut. I believe when Napier was hired at FL he required that he be able to have a similar number of non-coaching positions as Bama- it was something like 40.
It shouldn't be too much of a surprise, Texas A&M made a similar announcement last summer.
