Time to Drop UNI?

its a rivalry game to fred. but who gives a crap if its a rivalry game. i dont care if its for the freaking super bowl win the dang game
It's a big instate game that matters, no matter what it's a game we lost they won. It's time to learn and move on.
Iowa state has won 5 of the last 11, UNI has one 6 of the last 11(Including tonight) Before tonight the series was tied over the last decade, and most would consider that decade a decline from the success we saw in 2000 when we went to the Elite Eight. So even despite our decline in basketball, we still manage to beat roughly half of your teams.
Your name should be UNIFanSince2007, since that's about the only time interval that you could declare the rivalry has been "one-sided" since. I'm not entirely sure what the all-time record is as I couldn't find it anywhere.
So you're basically saying that UNI has gotten 50% of their total series wins in the last decade. A time (barring the 2000 and 2001 seasons) that ISU basketball has been mediocre at best, and terrible at worst, therefore according to UNI fans this rivalry is one sided.

Mostly, I think I was complaining about having to watch UNI play...not losing to them. I'm just saying we can lose to anyone...mind as well make it entertaining.
If you cannot beat UNI and Drake your season prob wont be very good so it really doesnt matter. Might as well play them.
The question is, if we had won, would you be complaining?
Now maybe that's a bad question, because if we had won, we probably would have imposed our style on them making it a little more "flashy" or run and gun.
But if UNI had slowed the game down, as they usually do, and we still won, would you have made this thread?
ISU cannot afford to take UNI off the schedule. They need the quality losses come tourney time! As of this morning BEFORE the game:

probably....depends how annoyed I felt. I'm guessing annoyance would be lower...so I might not be so impelled. Yes...I think I would. I really hate playing UNI that much.

Sorry that I am continuing to add to what has already been a lousy night for ya, but please point out anything that I have said on this thread that was untrue or made in spite? I don't believe that I have said anything negative towards ISU, it's coaches or players. Unfortunetly, I cannot not say the same for you(towards your own team!). As I said earlier, your willingness to bash UNI and it's program continues to prove your ignorance and lack of sportsmanship. Good luck against the Hawkeyes! I'm sure you will show UNI some love when they play the Hawks! Goodnight hater.
