Time to circle the wagons

If the wagons are Boomer Schooners, let's just burn them down.
They're both culpable but I kind of blame UT more in this fiasco. They always, always stir the pot. Just think UT could be personally responsible for imploding the rest of college football for the state of texas (Tech, Baylor, etc).

I can't help but think this makes a national title much harder for both of them..

I do not believe we are in a scenario where its just the SEC and everything else though. For instance, the top 1,000 HS kids cannot all commit to the SEC schools there are not enough spots. Also, people still really care about the college football sport as we know it in the heartland and upper midwest.

This will sort itself and we will be fine. We have the right men at the helm in Pollard and Campbell. I have faith.

switch the big 12 to be decentralized, paid on ratings, texas and oklahoma get a bigger chunk, because they rate out higher, bring more teams in, some team like byu wants in, fine, increase the chaos, its so easy to solve this, ou and texas dont need to be going to the sec, sec ball stinks its so bad to watch anymore, u align ureself into a corner, why do we assume the coast will always be more populated, short sighted to think things like that

were also starting a crypto coin called big 12 coin if u would like to invest in our brand new idea to decentralize college football, the new brand that will be inclusive, but fair

We need 10 team geographic conferences. I would love to travel to away games. If you had a conf with Iowa, Wisc, MN, Mizz, KS, you could travel to see every game. And you would have actual rivals. This is just so messed up. Sell me a college football package for every game streaming and form conferences that are fun again.
So, the Football Utopia league, or just F.U. for short.

This move almost assures that this will not happen. Most likely is four 16 team super conferences. I could see the following:

Big Ten: KU, ISU
ACC: West Virginia, OSU
PAC12: Baylor, TT, TCU, KSU
SEC: already set

Could have 3 20 team mega conferences with two ten team divisions. Play a round robin schedule in the division and then the division champions play on championship weekend for the conference title. Or there could be say 6 ten team regional conferences that have a sister conference for the season in which the conference champions play on championship weekend for a garunteed spot in a modified playoff. Or a combination of these two. Conferences could realign every few years to keep the balance of power somewhat level between the conferences.
