Tiger and Phil's Golf Event

Love having Justin Thomas on this as well. Probably my favorite younger golfer on the tour.
Justin Thomas was fantastic. The entire event was fun to watch but he definitely added to it with some real insight and was pretty funny as well
I loved every minute of that. Awesome.
I wish I could remember all the great one liners.
One of the best ones I thought was when Phil was like 150 yds out and asked Tiger if he could mark his ball on the green. You could tell Tiger was like "seriously Phil?".
Then Tiger says "I'm not going all the way up there to mark that.". Then Tiger adds.... "if you want it marked, go ahead and mark it yourself.... I've got some markers on me that I won from winning the US Open that you can use.... they're made of gold.".
And Phil chips in.... "mine are made of silver".
For the non golfers out there.... the US Open is the only major championship that Phil hasn't won yet. He's been 2nd several times though.
One other thing about that.... Tiger finally told Phil that if his shot hit his ball on the green that he would give Phil and Brady the hole.... and Phil proceeds to miss Tiger's ball by about 2 feet from 150 yds out.
I thought the banter back and forth was great. And having Chuck on the broadcast was a brilliant move.... he added a ton to the show.

I think having someone like Michael jordan would be interesting. Not sure who would pair against him.
Having the guys ride in carts was a great idea too. Last weekend, there was way too much downtime with the guys walking to every shot. This really helped keep the pace moving.
Bingo.... Romo and Jordan. Romo is a LOT better than Jordan, but it would still be fun.
And I think Tiger and Phil works pretty well too.
Outside of a couple shots by Brady.... Phil really carried them. Tiger got a lot more help from Manning IMO.
Peyton Manning is really funny IMO. Never would have guessed that until I first saw him on SNL and he was really good.
Storms knocked out holes 11-17 for me but it was a very good watch.
Nice to see the struggles from the football players.
The smack talk makes it for me. Gotta have the back and forth to make it interesting and Peyton did that well today.
