Absolutely one at a time, get through Tech next week then we get a perfectly place bye week to prepare for a massive opportunity in Stillwater.

Spot on.

There have been several ISU teams to have battled themselves into this spot, to be in contention for a Big 12 title. Prior to this, all of them, have lost focus on the goal somewhere along the line.

With two of the three (or four, depending on your view of Bevo this year) toughest games behind them, ISU is in the drivers seat again. I'm with CDub, let's enjoy the reality of that and trust the team to deliver.

Loved the fact that the fans in the south endzone were stomping at important times all through the game. That adds so much noise to the stadium.

Great write-up and spot on. Still cheering about the TE to TE pass...

I see OU fans are optimistic about the rest of the games...Riley is 4-4 against ISU and KSU...23-1 against the rest of the Big 12. I think his team picks up 1-2 more losses this year.

That’s no fluke at all. Oklahoma will always have better talent, so your scheme has to be different. Ball-control offense is the best way to beat a high-powered offense with more talent than you. Usain Bolt is always going to win in the 100M dash, but if you can turn the race into a marathon, you buy yourself a chance to win.

Nice article!
However I don't completely agree with this 'while Oklahoma is top to bottom a more talented team than Iowa State' based on what I saw last night. Perhaps by high school standards they are slightly more talented but definitely not top to bottom in college ball .
I'd take Charlie Kolar, Breece Hall, and Brock Purdy over anyone they have in those positions not to mention our stars on defense.

Agreed. “Top to bottom” means all areas. ISU was superior in the run game, tight ends, and arguably the D-line and linebackers. Both last night and overall talent.

Hell yes

CW, I liked the article, nothing wrong with it. I also love "X" but I gave you a "dislike" for the 1st time.

I generally just cannot stand most Rap. The song you selected was good in title only. The rest of it, oh well!

I'd like to respond to you but I'm not sure there is a lucid question here? If you are referring to the f-word, yes I don't see much reason for it. Unfortunately it is common these days. Doesn't mean I have to like it. Also the music and vocal performance does nothing for me.

Surprised Isheem wasn't mentioned, that interception was not ISU like. Normally ISU's DB's don't look for the ball and run into a WR for pass interference. Isheem looked like a rocket going for the interception, kids got a future. Had some nasty hits also.

Isheem also very fast as he moves up on run reads and seems to tackle pretty well for a younger player.

The NFL objects to this statement. Firmly.
While I agree, I selfishly hope that he doesn't magically put on a solid 20 lbs next year to get to NFL size. The roster 230 listing seems generous at this time. He is certainly effective with his current size at the college game, but the NFL might not be willing to commit a high draft pick yet for someone who might need a couple more years to fill out.
