Agreed, as much as I would like to see it, we never seem to take care of business in a manor that we should. We will probably play to KU's level instead of showing our dominance.

I think in the weekly Whiskey Podcast (my suggested new title), @brentblum said it's the highest spread ever in favor of ISU. (although apparently it was 29 1/2 at time of that recording).

I'm not surprised. The ULM spread last year had to have been up there. To be fair this says a lot more about Kansas than it does about Iowa State.

You guys have no clue, evidently, how bad Ku is at this point in time. I will say that their freshman QB has the potential to star in the future. He is quick and strong-armed. And they have some good receivers. But both lines suck turkey balls. And their special teams are wretched.

KSt opened as a 5 point dog now down to 3. So vegas thinks they're a fraud but betters are convinced.

KU (+28.5) vs. ISU - Can't see us covering that spread unless we get multiple special teams / defensive TD's

WVU (-3.5) vs. KSU - I like country roads in this one. I think they give KSU their first loss in conference play.

OSU (-3.5) vs. TX - I think OSU wins big here. Texas's defense is going to get exposed and Hubbard runs for 200 yards.

TCU (-2.5) vs. BU - This one seems too easy.

OU (-14.5) vs. TTU - OU's got a good rhythm going.

2 years ago, we went up 20-3 at half @ Kansas. We had two long drives in the 3rd quarter, one we scored a TD, the other we missed a FG (typical). 27-3 to start the 4th. We threw the ball 3 times total in the 4th and essentially ran the ball straight up the middle the rest of the way.

K-State's been the underdog in every B12 game played so far sans Ku. So, this is nothing new. There's something to be said for consistency, I guess. Klieman's starting to make a point about it.

I was either looking at a different game or just a typo. 55.5 is right, and that's what I bet.

42-14 is all that takes and that seems very reasonable.
I could see ISU's backups scoring 2-3 touchdowns in garbage time too.
