Prohm haters, be careful what you wish for. Lets compare Prohm to the team he just lost to as both coaches started at the same time. I'm sure that Texas thought they were "improving" when they hired Smart, but did they? Barnes was fired for failing to reach the Sweet 16.

I have been asking for nixon to be benched for weeks. That being said, Nixon has been absolutely awful shooting the ball for several weeks yet steve seemingly refused to take him out. Now today Nixon comes off the bench and has by far his best half of the year and then doesn't play in the second half. I honestly have no idea what steve is doing. He is a great human and a good recruiter but he is lost in games.

No matter how many times you convince yourself otherwise. Rick Barnes was not going to put up those results at Texas. He got stale at Texas and it was apparent any change was needed. Different sport, but look what happened to Iowa when they hung on to Hayden Fry for probably 2 years too long. It took them 3/4 to dig themselves out. What hope are you seeing that none of the Prohm haters are? Just blind faith or is there tangible reason to believe?

Steve Prohm and ISU need to mutually part ways at the end of the season. It’s the right thing to do...

That may be the best for both parties but there is a 0.0000001% chance a human being leaves $6.5 million on the table. Like does anyone think that would ever happen??

I'm the biggest #FireProhm guy on here. To be different, I'm going to try and make a case to keep him.

Season 1: The team performed just about as you would expect given the talent.
Season 2: Performed better in Big 12 play than many expected, lost to a similarly talented team in the tournament. Average season given expectations.
Season 3: This is where it gets hard.... He had two seasons to put together a competent team and we weren't even close. Failure.
Season 4: He put together too good of a team. With so much talent it's hard to coach it. It was a sweet 16 caliber team that got bounced early. Hoiberg did the same thing once.
Season 5: **** this. #FireProhm

No, but there might be some sort of an agreement where we pay half and he leaves to go be a special advisor somewhere. Gotta hope that something will happen, right?

I tried very hard to be a Prohm supporter, I believe in what he preaches, I just don't believe he is practicing his preach.

You know who would have made a huge difference this year? LARD. Now maybe Lard WAS too big of a problem to keep. .....however all season last year I watched Prohm''s interviews and this is what he said "Cam has checked all the boxes" "I am very happy with Cam, he has done everything we have asked of him"........but. ......Cam NEVER got a chance to become part of the rotation. ....never.

He has vague quotes about wanting to prepare Lewis for life. ......and we never see Lewis play.

Young gets taken out of the starting line up for not performing. Does everything he is asked, keeps a good attitude, has a couple games of his career, does not earn his starting position back. Meanwhile Condit underwhelms.

Supposedly Prohm is holding these young men accountable. ......who is holding Steve Prohm accountable?
