The problem is the Big 12 is really good, but the AJ injury might really give us an in to make that happen. Gotta think he wants to test his chops at the P6 level after seeing how an injury can really cut your time to play down.

Weren't you one of the primary leaders on the "stop" the NCAA tournament talk next year? Add AJ Green to that roster are you willing to change your tune a bit? TJ may just be getting started wouldn't be shocked if he has another high-level transfer or two up his sleeve.

You guys are gonna get my hopes up with AJ green talk. My pessimistic ass assumes he will go to Iowa because you know, Panther hawks.

Uh ya. AJ would change everything assuming he comes back the same guy. Also assuming we keep Hunter in the fold.

still think it would tough because non-con would be a learning curve and we might not come out of it withenough leeway for conference play butI would guess we’d be right there and it would be a battle for that 6-7 spot in conference.

AJ is a top guard in the country and would immediately change the trajectory of next year’s team.

Not less than 48 hours ago I was trying to make the case that if you add just one high level transfer who is a volume scorer next years team could make some noise and perhaps could make the tournament. Your exact response was "Stop!".

3 guard lineup with AJ, Rasir, and TH is a great start. It may require XF to be a little bit more of a traditional inside player and just use his length to grab as many boards as possible. We really really really need a guy that lives to grab the ball. Don’t care if it’s a 6’6” skinny guy like Hogue or a big bruiser. We just need an 8 rpg guy in some form.

I think they need more than one high level scorer to make the tournament. Get me two and I'll start breaking out the sugar for the Kool-Aid mix.

Hinson averaged 10+ ppg in the SEC. Bolton has shown he is capable of being a 15 ppg type of player. AJ Green averaged nearly 20 last year albeit in the MVC. Those are some bucket getters right there.

Yeah that’s certainly be intriguing, especially if Bolton ends up staying.

Not saying it couldn’t work, but playing those 3 at once creates a serious length deficit. That’s the kind of lineup where senior-year Matt Thomas wouldn’t even try to get open, he’d just shoot over the tops of dudes.

Nothing is going to be perfect. I’d rather play my best guys and deal with that than for TJ to try and be the tinker-man.

I don't think 6'1", 6'3" and 6'4" is that undersized.

A 6’4” three guard is going to be at a significant height disadvantage against almost(?) every Big 12 team. A 6’3” two is, though to a smaller degree. All three together is a problem

For real. Get the talent and make it work. It may be ok if they give up 90 points/game I’d they’re scoring 110.
