***The Final Four Thread***

I thought was Hardaway throwing up an off balance three, but it ended up being some guy named Levert?

Was longer than a fraction of a second and the Louisville player had both hands on it.

What game were you watching?

The weirdest part of it is that UNI lost a chance to tie against Louisiville earlier in the year on virtually the same type of call. Except it was clearly a jump ball and they called a foul on the UNI player. I think they was even a thread on here about it.

I dislike fundamentals talk except when there are Ds like Syracuse and Louisville involved. Shot fakes, ball fakes, correct passes, cuts to get open, footwork without the ball...it's against Ds like these where you see it really matter.

Interesting tidbit regarding Michigan - Syracuse game: Winner will have the longest current winning streak in National Semifinal games. Michigan has won their last 5 Semifinal games which is longest current streak and Syracuse has won their last 3 Semifinal games which is 2nd longest (tied with Kansas and Florida).

Longest Semifinal winning streaks:
UCLA 9
Kentucky 7
Duke 6
Michigan 5 (Current)
Kansas 4
Georgetown 4

With this and the earlier post ("No team in this year's Final Four has been to the Championship since 2003..") .. I learned two new things today.

It typically takes me a month to accomplish that.
