Not sure how there can be a jump ball call in a fraction of a second.
Took away WSU's opportunity to tie the game at the end. For shame.
Ref inserted himself into the game at a point when it was not feasible to make that call. 10 min. in... okay. But 20 sec. to go in a 3 pt game? No way. That's the problem. It's all about context. That's why we lost multiple important games this year. Are refs supposed to call consistently, even if it affects outcomes of games? Or should they let the players decide? I would argue for the latter.
The best outcome possible, in my mind, would be the team that would have won in the Lied in an honest pickup game, to win the game in real life. For real...
