I’m interested to see how he performs in the NFL. From my recliner, he had 0 protection from his offensive line in Boulder but has a strong accurate arm. Have no idea why he wouldn’t just throw out of bounds instead of running backwards and taking a sack. Could be the best thing that he dropped so far in the draft, leaves Prime & Hunter behind and has a fresh start in Cleveland. If he doesn’t inherit his Dad’s mouth and gets the message that he has to prove himself in a big boys league, he may be a positive story or he could be another Johnny Manziel hype gone bad.

They’ll definitely dispute the strong arm part.

Seems he's already been blessed with the family "mouth"

Way up there
Falling in the draft is going to end up being the best thing to happen to Shedeur. If he succeeds, he proved all the haters wrong. If he fails, the narratives that Prime about his haters have created a bubble around him. His failures will be because of this system that is rigged against him. Even if he is awful and gets cut, there will be a huge group of people thinking he should get signed every year or that he's being kept out of the league intentionally. He's become more of a political figure than an athlete. He wouldn't just fail and go away. This keeps him relevant for as long as he wants to be. Not just for those who love him, the people who hate him will keep him relevant as well.

Oh, there’s already been Kaepernick references made most notably by Stephen Ahole Smith.

That is brutal. As a dad, I can’t imagine how bad Deion feels that his kid hasn’t been taken when he legitimately thought he’d be a first rounder. But I also would guess Deion doesn’t realize or want to accept this is a lot of his own doing. When this 30 for 30 comes out, it will be legendary.

It’s not even a real thing that happened in the video you quoted.

The rumor online is the kid that did the prank call is the son of the Falcons DC. Would explain how he got the number.

He has developed zero quarterback skills relying entirely on athleticism. Can work in college when you are so athletic and you are allowed to be a chucker, in the NFL, even the 300-pound defensive lineman is nearly as athletic. Quarterbacks who make it in the NFL study and learn. It's why Manning with a noodle arm was able to do just enough to win a Superbowl at Denver combined with a great defense. If Shaduer plays anything like he did at Colorado every other play will be an interception or 20-yard sack.

Kaepernick was a one hit wonder that never learned or adjusted. DC's figured his tendencies out quite easily and took advantage of him. He never adjusted and after being benched with little chance of ever getting a starting position again, decided to be a huge distraction and detriment to any team.

“Detriment” lmao oh okay. Collin was far better than just about every other back up in the nfl that maintained jobs.

Exactly. Caleb Williams, who is significantly better than Sanders, found that out last year. One of the main reasons I hate when my team drafts QBs who won’t get the ball out on time. Trubisky to Fields to Williams, but I am hopeful Williams is good enough to adjust unlike the first two.

He had a very unique and limited skill set. Even without the circus that followed him, he was a horrible backup QB option due to most teams having to change their whole offense if he had to play.

Nah, he was far far more serviceable than just about every back up qb at the time. The only circus was sensitive white dudes, that to this day that still watch the nfl even though they’ve said they boycotted multiple times.
