Heard on the radio yesterday that Deion made a statement about Shedeur and the Browns. Says he wants to have a sit down with the Browns coaching staff to discuss Shedeur's usage and whatnot and that Shedeur does not play back-up to anyone. JFC, why would the Browns sign-up for this crap?
While I think Deion is certainly capable of that, I don’t believe that story. The lack of self-awareness if they did that would be inconceivable. The Browns would cut him right away I’d think.

Posters laughing or dumbing the fact that kaepernick was better than most back ups, list at least 15 back ups that were better than him at the time. Thanks in advance.
Sorry, late to this party here but genuinely curious. What time frame are you referring too? 2016?

He was still good enough to be a starter. He was better than more than a couple starters even after only playing 12 games in 16.
Colin Kaepernick wasn’t blackballed by the league. He was offered multiple contracts to come into teams to be a backup. He demanded to be the starter. He wasn’t willing to be a backup. Every single NFL team sent scouts and coaches to watch him workout for his “comeback,” only for him one hour before to say he was doing it somewhere else, over an hour away. Then cried that they were against him. Everything CK has done or does since the kneeling, is to CK’s benefit or gain. He never was serious about playing football. Everything he does is to keep his name in the spotlight and financially profit. He’s made way more money scamming people with his fake narratives since then, then he ever would have playing football. He also didn’t initially kneel. He sat and pouted on the bench during the national anthem for three games because he had been benched. When he was finally called out about it, that’s when he said he was protesting to save face. The kneeling came the next week. The dudes a fake, con artist who has done little to nothing to help his so called causes he claims he did this for. Eric Reid being blackballed by the league is a completely different story. He was a top 10 safety in the league when he became a free agent, then was not offered by any team until it became a story that he wasn’t signed. And he is actually active and helps the causes that CK only claims to do. To finish, CK was mediocre at best his final two years. His record as a starter was 3-16 his last two years with around 180 yards passing per game. Was he good enough to still be in the NFL? Absolutely. He wasn’t interested though. His actions prove that.
