The Deion Sanders thread

That seems insane but honestly it's well worth it. No matter what you think of Deion, people watch him... a lot of people. AKA $$$$

We'll see how long that lasts. Maybe forever. I watched CU, but the novelty of Deion being the coach wore off in year 1. I was watching Hunter, and to a much lesser extent Shadeur. Outside of those two, there really wasn't anything very interesting from them as a team, Deion included. It's not like you're seeing anything during a game from Deion that is all that different or interesting.

I don’t get how people can crap on Deion after the job he’s done. That program was so unbelievably bad when he got there. Like him or not, the guy does a great job of bringing in talent.
Next two or so seasons will be important for him and Buffs.

Shadeur and Hunter will have their jerseys retired at the Colorado spring game. Kordell Stewart and Darien Hagen, the two best QBs to ever play there don't have their numbers retired. That's wild.
As much as I would like to see a few more guy's numbers hanging in the rafters of Hilton. Some schools are far too quick to retire numbers. At least give it a few years to see if their legacy has a lasting memory.

Did they try being Deion Sanders' son and/or the son he wishes Shilo was?

too soon for both, but I'm yes on Hunter, and no on Shedeur. Hunter did win the Heisman.
others that have their # retired at CU include:
Heisman Trophy winner
Consensus AA and 2 time Bowl champion
AA and Rhodes Scholar
A Supreme Court Justice
