Hawkeye fans will do anything to take the attention off their team losing. Did the same thing with Randy Peterson and the court storm two years ago.
This is another point I'd like to make. There is a certain look to the kind of person who would shove a 6'8" 230 pound basketball player. This kid does not have that look.

If anything, I thought the "push" was pretty wimpy. It reminded me of when a kid goes hunting for the first time and puts his hands on the prey for a photo after it has been shot. He reaches out, touches it, and then pulls back because he is a little freaked out.

Hawkeye fans are just trying to deflect from the fact that they lost yet again. Breaking it down like it's the Zapruder film. "Yeah, we lost, but look what this kid did that we think maybe possibly can be construed as scandalous! Focus on that!"
Not sure ID'ing this guy, if that is a true ID, is the most responsible thing to do with all of the angry jackass Hawkeyes maybe looking to harass or hurt him.

It's part that and part "vilify ISU fans." Many of the responses I saw to those edited tweets were calling ISU fans thugs/lowlifes while, "You'd never see that at Iowa." Iowa fans don't like sharing a smaller state with another P5 school.
