I don't think it was his one true dream in life to coach in the NBA. I also don't think that the NBA is the only place he'd have left Iowa state for. I think he said and his friends said that to make it easier for him to leave. There's nothing wrong with that but I don't have to like it.

And of course I have no evidence. Just my gut. But if he leaves the NBA after only 2 years to go back to college, my gut would be right.

You're right. I did say Iowa state there. But I think I've been pretty consistent saying he didn't like coaching at Iowa state.
