Probably just bulls fans wishing he would leave. But there's some twitter talk.
But this would be fantastic for me. Who has been predicting he'd get fired at Christmas and coaching in thd big 10 or acc next year? Me. Who said he did not mind college but didn't like Iowa state? Me. Who kept saying he hated recruiting and would never coach college again? Everyone else.
That's why I said it was probably bulls fans wishful thinking.
But one would think gene smith had an idea on who to go with if he let Matta quit so late in the game.
Brian Snow of Scout just posted on premium boards that there is serious buzz for Hoiberg to Ohio State.
It is a done deal. Hoiberg to OSU 6 million a year, lifetime contract and he will have the top HS recruiters on staff so he doesn't have to recruit. he wants to get a home and home set up with ISU asap.

True, he hates Iowa State. It is well known that he only chose Iowa State to play basketball at so that one day he could come back and coach at ISU to rebuild the program to a point that would get fans excited but then not leave the team deep enough in the post to limit the team's ceiling to sweet sixteens for two years and to make them have a rebuilding year in year 3.

I never said he ruined anything. Hell I said he's a top 4 figure at Iowa state.

Yeah, I mean who would want to coach in the NBA. It is only the pinnacle of the basketball world. For example, no one would ever leave Kentucky to coach in the NBA but yet we are supposed to believe he wanted to leave Iowa State to coach for Chicago? yeah right. I bet he never even had health issues .Liars.
