The ref even turned the microphone off to explain to the Texas captain what he was doing. And they still chose to kick.

Only time I have ever seen that is when I was in HS and a team who had lot 30 games in a row did that against us. It was awesome.

That sounds like what happens at JH or JV high school games.

The only other time I can recall seeing that on any level was a 7th grade football game I was playing in. We deferred and the other team elected to kick. We were joking about it on our sidelines because the other team had no idea for the entire first half. Their coach was ****** when the refs wouldn't let them receive in the second half when we elected to receive.

I give Strong 2 years. This year will be a pass no matter what happens. If he doesn't win 8+ next year...he gone.

Didn't we do that once some years ago? Might have been against KSt. I was befuddled why we didn't get hte ball 2nd half since we didn't get it first half. Anyone confirm?
