It'll be interesting to see how this plays out considering we play TCU on 9/26.

Does CW know what protocols are in place. I'd assume they test all players eligible to play; must test negative on the 25th. Any other criteria?

Guys, just to give some backstory here...I won't mention the names of players, but I can tell you there is a very high number of players and some staff members affected. Among the players are major, major contributors...some positions were completely decimated to just one player.

I was told that the silver lining out of all of this is it should be good by Iowa State.

Great! Wonder if our players are going to feel comfortable lining up against them, 3 weeks after a major covid outbreak and the first team to do so! Why do we have to be the guinea pigs.

Thankfully, no COVID here, so this will still work out great.

That is the great irony of all this. If you have a position group "decimated" in a couple of weeks they should be fine for the season. Teams that have low cases have more of a chance to have more cases later in the season.

And the tweet says postpones, not cancels unless you have further information. That would be in line with the protocol the Big 12 released. Presumably they will play on a later open date. Maybe wouldn't apply to out of conference though.
