Funny how we think our OC has guts because he called one "gutsy" play in the game.

I think that's giving him WAY too much credit. We need to be more aggressive like that all game long IMO. Is it just because we're normally more conservative than KF and Iowa that people aren't used to seeing an aggressive call or what?

Most games I watch on any given Saturday... teams are a lot more aggressive than we are. Obviously I loved the call... it was fabulous... just want to see more aggressive playcalling out of us.

This has kind of been lost in the shuffle, but "Run the Big 12" Utah was eliminated from bowl eligibility tonight at home, in front of a jacked crowd, on senior night, by a superior Irate 8 team that tried to gift them the game. WTH Utah?!?

Sorry Utah, but you ain't jack. Nobody remembers your trips to the Tulip Bowl where you lost every dam time. Hell, we got neighbors that root for a team that loses every time they play in the Tulip Bowl. You think your losses impress us?

I’m fine with conservative all game if it allows us to deliver knockout blows with unique play calls like it has the past two weeks. And he’s not that conservative. Running the ball up the middle, even to poor yardage, is necessary to set everything else up.
