I love Confluence. I just have to drive to Cedar Falls to get it. Every once in a blue moon Dixie's in Decorah has some.
Seriously? Confluence has no distro in Decorah? I’ll have to talk to John about that next time I see him.

On the road...
I had some friends who worked for/with Kinship. I've never met a more slimy person than Zach Dobeck. When it comes to delusional individuals, he is the dictionary definition.
This is why finance bros ALWAYS fail when they get into the hospitality industry. They think their **** doesn't stink, they know everything and refuse to hire someone with knowledge. I will never feel bad for people like that failing. They are the reason craft beer was/is oversaturated.

They self distro. They don't have distro in multiple parts of the state.
Yeah they have their own delivery guys and also distro for some other small breweries. With as many beer lovers that visit Decorah from out of state each year you would think keeping a presence there would be beneficial. More than just a keg to Dixie’s now and then anyway.

Finally got to Hi-Fi Brew Lounge in Valley Junction (old Fox Brewing) and really enjoyed it. They’ve upgraded the space and while they don’t have a huge beer selection, they few I tried were solid. And it was packed on a Friday happy hour which is always good to see.

I'm surprised that Toppling Goliath hasn't been as aggressive with opening satellite locations as Big Grove has been. They are both huge in the craft beer world.
