Tang gonna Tang

Actually, Sunday I was pretty impressed with the level that the K St crowd not only stayed in the building but stayed engaged in the game. Towards the end the student section would give a huge cheer when we missed a meaningless free throw.

Also, just gotta say I'd play like crap too if I had to wear those uniforms. They look like something a Southern Missouri Middle School would wear for PE class.
They were hoping for 2 misses in a row to get free bread sticks.

If an opposing team player stepped up to the line and missed both freethrows, the students win breadsticks or something...I don't think we missed both freethrows all night. So those poor yahoo couldn't even score breadsticks.

They were hoping for a 2nd miss for free breadsticks! ISU probably missed the first and made the second to crush their hopes of $5(?) breadsticks.

FYI, there’s a lot of history with the retro unis - from the Jack Hartman era for those of less informed. They were honoring that era Sunday. I appreciate them. The Good Lord knows we have worn some less than stellar retro unis over the years. We couldn’t even improvise and use a gold chevron for the Trice throwbacks. The silver chevron looked like buckeye wanna bes, factually correct as it was.

Tang and Otz actually talked in the handshake line. I am curious to know what was said. Tang normally doesn't stop to talk to the opposing coach in the handshake line after a loss . . . well, except to make baseless accusations
The conversation went something like this:
TJ: "your teams shows a lot of grit" or something complimentary of Tang or the wildcats.
Tang: "Im not worried about about that because I am saved. You too can be saved brother; all you need to do is you turn your life over to the lord and savior Jesus Christ. In him all things are possible "

That article is hilarious saying bramlage was full. It was announced crowd of 8k when their capacity is just over 11,600.
They only had 9,111 (officially) in attendance for the Sunflower showdown with KU. No sellout for their two biggest rivals.

I'd being doing that dance too for $18 mil.
I had lunch at Chick-Fil-A in Davenport yesterday. Counter girl started giving me crap about my Iowa State hat and said, "If that was a Hawkeye hat, I would give you lunch for free". I paused for 1 second and replied, "Not worth it". Now, free food for life, I would consider it.

Correct response was '**** the Hawks!'

I would have said ... "so, this is the best job you could land after graduating from that dump."

And that is why you are on that side of the counter. Now put the fries in the bag, hawk.
