Survivor 47

I understand them halting because of the pandemic, but I wish they would bring back having actual family show up.
Weirdly enough I didn’t get into the show until after the pandemic so at first I didn’t mind the changes, but after watching back a handful of older seasons there really is some magic missing. Maybe when Jeff retires or for Season 50 they’ll hit refresh but I’m not optimistic since it’d up the production cost to lengthen the season, fly out family, etc.

HOLY **** what an episode! I've quickly become a Rachel fan so for her to make final 2 and for the flip flop and then the snake to be the ones eliminated was the chef's kiss.

Go Rachel!

Teeny thinks she is still in it. She is not. It's either Sam or Rachael. It's gonna be Rachael though. Dirt face has no shot. Rachael has played the best game, however, Sam has done a good job with the jury. Teeny has admitted several times she has no idea what is going on and she is out of it.

A part of me was kind of hoping Andy would make it to the final 4 after Operation Italy. He fell into the trap so many players do - he got overconfident and revealed to Rachael how he was under the radar but thought he had a good case to present to the jury. Then she told him after the vote that his pitch was strong but didn't work in the way he wanted it to.

Why can't people keep their mouths shut?

I agree, Rachael should have this locked up.

Teeny is worthless, great kid. Sue played her idol, just to show she had it…it didn’t mean anything cause she was never in jeopardy. Lol! Finale is btwn Sam and Rachel. Both good in getting there, Rachel has done so much more!
I agree she won't be in consideration for winning, but she will play up her social game and how she had the idol the whole time and didn't need to play it. It's literally her only card to play.

It's so bizarre to me that people get cocky and confident in the game. Like Andy. There are 47 seasons showing that everytime someone get's cocky and confident, they get voted out. Especially a guy who has been pulling most of the blindsides. I wanted Andy to get to the finals though. He did play the best game in my opinion. Wonder if the players are watching at home and realizing how good of a game he played after the first few days.

Ill take Rachael for the win. However, If Sam wins the next challenge, he needs to challenge her to fire and get her out. That would make him the winner. Then again I thought about that, I think you get 75K for 3rd place. So do you want to risk making fire for the win or except you are probably getting second or 3rd for that prize money. I am not sure which way I would go to be honest.

To me Andy was trending a lot like former player Russell Hantz, who IMO is one of the best and at the same time one of the worst Survivor players ever. Russell was exceptional at making it to the final 3, but once there everyone knew he had zero chance of winning because of how he got there and all the people he wronged along the way. That's what Andy's game was looking like to me.

There's a difference IMO between making strong strategic moves vs. just constantly flipping and f*cking over most of the people you're aligned with.

Sue is gonna preach the "never even had to use my idol!" angle at final tribal, but it's less impressive when you had opportunities to save the people you were allied with, but didn't know enough about what was going on to do so. It's not like her social game was the reason she didn't have to play it - it was because everyone wanted her to be who they sat next to at final tribal.

Teeny has already dug herself into a huge hole by openly admitting that she's been played on numerous occasions. She's essentially Sue with no "I found an idol!" story.

Rachel is definitely going to win if she makes it. Sam is definitely going to win otherwise...

I am more impressed Sam has been able to stay around even as he was identified as a threat. I agree it’s between Rachel and Sam. Sue might get Caroline’s vote, but I wouldn’t be shocked with a clean sweep by Rachel at this point.

Sue's smug look when she played her idol was hilarious. Ok, yeah, sure Grandma, no one cares, let's get you to bed. Anyone else in that position would have found a way to play it on someone else and **** **** up to at least give herself something to discuss in front of the jury, but not tweedle-dumb
