Super Troopers 3 Trailer

@demoncore1031

In the pantheon of "way too late sequels," Super Troopers 2 isn't one of the worst offenders. It's not as good as the original sure, but it had its moments, and it was nice to see the band back together.

Emmanuelle Chriqui is really cute, too.
Agreed!

I like all of the Broken Lizard films. Even Puddle Cruiser was kinda funny. Most of the "way too late sequels" coming out now are complete garbage. Happy Gilmore 2 was a total dud. The Vacation movie from a few years ago was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Of course having Ed Helms playing Rusty Griswold had a lot to do with that. My left ball is a better actor than that d-bag.

First one's a classic.

Didn't know there was a second one.

This looks like total **** unfortunately.

Eh, I thought Happy Gilmore 2 was fine as long as you had reasonable expectations. Of course it wasn't going to be in the same stratosphere as the first.

As for this one, I'll probably smoke a J & have some laughs.

Exactly when a favorite film of mine does a sequel I don't need academy winning performances. I just want to be moderately entertained.

This looks better than the sequel. They tried too hard to replicate the humor of the first one. This looks to be a reimagining of the shenanigans that can be had.

I really have no idea why Brian Cox (a serious actor) keeps acting in these, but I love him for it.
I honestly didn't know he was still alive. I thought he was old in the first one, and that was 25 years ago.

It is funny most of that group gets together and decides to make a movie about every 10 years.

Did a series of Uber Eats or Door Dash commercials a while back. Been in several other less serious films as well. Serious actors like money too.

Sounds like when he first did super troopers he really wanted to do some comedy and do something different than the roles he'd been slotted into. I assume its also just fun for him hanging out with the Broken Lizard crew for a couple months.

With how much work he's gotten over the years, he can certainly afford to do whatever roles appeal to him most at this point.

Cox isn’t as serious as perceived.

It’s hilarious how he talked about Jeremy Strong (who is one hundred percent method).

While saying he’d never tell anyone how to work there were times he said he’d like to say, “Just read the ******* stuff”.

Right. Serious and professional often get interchanged when that isn't always the case. Cox is a professional actor that has done a wide variety of stage and screen roles. Plus he's Scottish and they don't take themselves quite as serious as some English actors or those that try to emulate them.
