There's a reason our fanbase needs nutcups. They focus on the negative with almost everything. Just beat a top 25 team and we focus on the negatives.
Because the crowd was really really bad. There was maybe a dozen students in the upper section, overall maybe 60% full and quiet. I felt like I was in Carver.

If you want more students at the games, sell beer. I moved back to Ames from Omaha and went to many Creighton games over the years. Creighton has top 10 attendance at its games, generally averaging about 17,000. They sell beer. They sell good food at the concession stands (Omaha steak burgers, BBQ, pizza, etc.). They make the games family events with face painters, balloon animals, Pom poms for the kids. The first game I went to at Hilton last year was like stepping back in time forty years. We decided to eat at the game. Our choices were a hot dog or walking taco. Two hot dogs and two Pepsis for $26.
As a student, I understand that managing schoolwork and extracurricular activities can be overwhelming. However, if you have concerns about the limited food options or alcohol served at events, it's important to speak up. Providing feedback to organizers can not only improve your experience but also that of other attendees. I recommend taking a few minutes to express your thoughts and suggestions to the organizers of the game you attended. It could be a valuable opportunity to make your voice heard and potentially influence change. I read on https://edubirdie.com/essay-rewriter some samples of speeches and just research that helped me learn how to expose my thoughts eloquently. Here I also found an essay rewriter tool that supports and assists my homework tasks. For students, it is useful.

Err, some families may not feel comfortable attending events where alcohol is served...
For the limited food options at the game you attended, have you considered providing feedback to the organizers to express your concerns and suggestions for improvement? This could be a valuable opportunity to make your voice heard and potentially influence change.
So tell me please whether you have considered reaching out to the organizers of the game you attended to provide feedback and suggestions for improving the food and beverage options.
I'm gonna organize smth like that and feel stressful.
I’ve seen plenty of kids and families attend NBA games.

That would be a small minority IMO. Plenty of parents take their kids to pro sporting events. Saw a lot of families in Kinnick last fall.

We need to send Pollard to a Creighton game is what it sounds like.

Appreciate your comment. I would also argue that these same folks that live close by come most every game--which does have an impact on the energy. I love someone's comment here about banning those over 40 to help keep the noise level up. Several years ago we went to a Clemson football game. Seriously, it was SO noisy, I could only hear the 300 fans sitting within 50' of feet of me. The other 80,000 could have been cardboard cut outs.

40? Maybe 65. :). Of course I've seen plenty of old people in Hilton go nuts during the game.

Very interesting take here. I would assume there would only be a handful of people. Maybe less than 10.

I have reached out about food options/even opening a food stand… no luck.
